There were 9.9 deliberate fires per 10,000 people a year in Erskine from April 2023 to March 2026, 56% lower than the typical Scottish town's 22.3. The most common were grass, woods and crops set on fire, at 6.0. In 2025/26 it was 11.6, down from 13.0 in 2023/24.
