There were 8.1 deliberate fires per 10,000 people a year in Annan from April 2023 to March 2026, 64% lower than the typical Scottish town's 22.3. The most common were bins and rubbish set on fire, at 4.2. In 2025/26 it was 4.6, down from 8.1 in 2023/24.
