Crap Towns / Watford / Road condition
How bad are the roads in Watford?
Watford council doesn't look after its roads: Hertfordshire County Council does. In 2025-26, 3% of Hertfordshire County Council's A roads, 5% of its B and C roads and 18% of its unclassified roads should have been considered for maintenance. Across England the figures were 4%, 6% and 16%. Ten years earlier, in 2015-16, the figures were 3%, 6% and 15%.
